Oven floor pad
The floor pad is 3 1/2" thick concrete. We decided not to suspend it on rebar, rather extended it over the block walls with a flashing break to allow for movement. Cement nails were placed in the insulating layer to bond it to the concrete. Rebar was placed in the pad when it was half poured.
